Cooking
Alton Brown's show Good Eats (beware the popups) has become one my favorite shows.
Besides the recipes on his show there are a few I've managed to prepare fairly well:
- Chicken Tikka Masala
- Thai Tuna Burgers
- World's Best Lasagna
- Wild Salmon (veg oil, salt, and pepper in a hot pan. simple, just don't over cook it!)
Cycling
We live near the New York State Canalway Trail System. The trail is 260 miles of almost fully connected paths between Buffalo and Albany. It will continue to be expanded over the next few years to comprise over 500 miles of recreational path. Which raises the question, why all this effort for a region that gets two months of summer? Well, at least those two months will be more enjoyable.
